Pacific Energy’s Wuxi Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant is the largest natural gas power plant in the city of Wuxi with a capacity of 932MW. A major energy infrastructure project in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Jiangsu Province in China, the plant is a 70/30 joint venture between Pacific Energy and Wuxi Public Utilities Industrial Group Co. Ltd, a state-owned enterprise.

This is Pacific Energy’s second CCGT power plant in China and has been in full operation since April 2019, the power plant is not only highly efficient in supporting peak shaving of power demand in Jiangsu but also reduces emissions significantly compared to coal.
